Welcome back to Chicago Sweet Treats!
Sugar Hills Bakery, an adorably decorated bakeshop in Avondale has the perfect aesthetic. White chairs and tables, tasteful artwork, coffee sayings, and a beautiful “Hello Sweetie” sign I had to stop and get a picture in front of (it was so on brand!)
I tried their Raspberry Tart while my boyfriend had 20 kolaches of various flavors. A kolacky is a type of pastry that holds a dollop of fruit, rimmed by a puffy pillow of supple dough. They are such a fun and easy snack on the road and we greatly enjoyed them!
The Raspberry Tart I had was jam full of fruit, nuts, and sweet pastry filling, it was truly amazing. The shop is the kind of place you want to hang out and do work in, they get a lot of light filling the place and also have Intelligentsia coffee to drink.
Parking is super easy since it is in a plaza, so you can get desserts and go shopping. Win-win for everyone!
If you would like to see some of my past reviews I went to Frio Gelato to have a Classic Argentine Flight and Lutz Cafe and Bakery for a Mixed Berry Tart.

Have the sweetest day!
